Get the hint! Fri, 28 May 2010 02:10:26 +0200 ![]() As some of you may have already detected, C now gives you a random hint each time you login to your account. We hope that this can help you to improve your knowledge about IRC in general and of course how to use C and what it can do for you while managing your channel and your account a bit just while you are enjoying your stay on the network. Let's see if you'll detect some new cool stuff while reading the hints soon ;-) ( 0 ) Comments ![]() ![]() Marcel
Forums are opened again Sat, 25 Apr 2009 20:54:20 +0200 ![]() After a longer period of downtime our forums are opened again for your new postings from today.
Feel free to make your first post today by discussing about coding-related topics or just god and the world. You can find the direct link on the left naviagtion bar by clicking on "Board". As always you don't need to register, you can login using your account data from C (ChanServ). If it is your first login, your account will automatically be created. Additionally we have made a new style for you which makes the whole forums a lot more viewable and readable than before. You may choose between the old style and the new one in your profile options. If you have any further questions, suggestions or problems getting logged in, feel free to report those to #help. If you want to let us know what you think about it you can post your personal opinion at http://board.codersnet.org/showthread.php?t=6 ( 0 ) Comments ![]() ![]() Gerrit
New multi-language improvements on C Sat, 11 Apr 2009 16:51:42 +0200 ![]() As you may know you're able to set up a default language for your account which specifies in which language C will talk to you.
We have recently improved this feature. C will now automatically try to detect the language spoken in your country and will use this language instead of English if a translation for it is available. If no translation is available in your language or if it couldn't detect your language it will keep English as the default. This however won't touch any account-based language settings since they always override the language C has detected for your country. New accounts will automatically be created with the detected language set as the default (which can be changed by using the LANGUAGE command afterwards if wanted). Existing accounts still have to set up their default language by using the LANGUAGE command. -> /cbot LANGUAGE [new language] [new language] can either be the full name, like "German", the two-lettered country code, like "de" or a language ID obtained from the list. If you don't specify this parameter at all you can see a list of available translations. ( 0 ) Comments ![]() ![]() Gerrit
New C request conditions Thu, 02 Apr 2009 01:44:26 +0200 ![]() We've decided today to lower the conditions to get C into your channel. While you had to have an average of at least 4 users for about 2 hours inside your channel to request C before, the new requirements are now:
To request C, just type: We hope this makes you the way to your own channel a bit easier, enjoy! :-) ( 0 ) Comments ![]() |
